Right?

In the early days, I had a "Baby Bjorn" that a friend let me borrow.  It served it's purpose while my daughter Clara was tiny, as she liked to be upright and couldn't hold her head up well enough yet to do a tummy-to-tummy carry with my ring sling, (also given by a very good friend :)) and I didn't have a mei tai at the time.

But BOY was it uncomfortable once she weighed more than 7 pounds!

As soon as she could hold her head up, I started using my ring sling and have never looked back.  So much more comfortable - the fabric spreads her weight out evenly across my back and shoulder, and they're SO much more versitile - You can do facing in (tummy to tummy), facing out (kangaroo carry), on your hip (hip carry), laying down (cradle carry), on your back (back carry)... the possibilities are endless with variations on each carry as well.  My all-time favourite thing about my sling though has got to be the ability to breastfeed on-the-go!!  My husband and I have spent a total of 4 days in various theme parks since Clara was born 6 months ago, and with my sling it goes sooo smoothly!  I never have to stop and find a bench 6 times or more during the day, wasting precious theme park fun time!  Plus, Clara would never sleep well in her stroller, but with the sling along, she would stay knocked right out and get in a good solid nap so she could wake up and be ready for more fun!

 I could go on all day about my sling, but I think you probably get the gist. 

They rock.  So buy one.
